DESIGN :
BLUE CHIP Cooling Towers are in Counter flow design to achieve optimum performance by Uniform water distribution and optimal heat transfer. CASING :
It is made of FRP segments and is structurally strong enough to withstand various forces and impact. BASIN :
FRP type with fittings viz, make up, overflow & drain connection. It is an optional feature. |

FAN :
The fan is of Axial Flow type, and is directly driven which saves from the perennial headche of V-belts / Gear drive. The fan blades are of Cast Aluminium alloy, and it is statically and dynamically balanced.
FAN DRIVE MOTOR : It is available in T.E.F.C. Weatherproof, IP-55 enclosure, Class `B` insulation, suitable for outdoor installation and is from reputed makes.
INSPECTION / ACCESS WINDOW :
It is provided for maintenance and periodical checking of the various segments of the Cooling Tower, without disturbing the normal working of the Cooling Tower. GENERAL : Blue-Chip Cooling Towers are Corrosion-free, Light-weight, Compact, Portable and very easy to install and maintain. They are truly a "Customer`s Delight."

Timber Induced Drraft Towers:
Unique Timber Cross flow Towers by use of Seagull Bars either in PVC or in Steel, `C` type Drift Eliminators, Aerodynamic FRP Fans, Drives with or without Gear Boxes, all to give highest thermal efficiency. Use of Seagull Bars ensure film & splash cooling both. This gives more capacity by 20-25% over the conventional fill design.
STRUCTURE :
Selected quality Pine Wood as per IS 2372 treated with Chromated Cooper Arsenate
( ASCU Chemicals ) as per IS 401.

WATER DISTRIBUTION :
Open gravity type basin made of tongue and grooved treated timber Plank / marine plywood fitted with polypropylene spiral target nozzles to have uniform hot water distribution over the entire fill area.
FILL : ASCU treated timber splash bars fill supported on GRP grids.
DRIFT ELIMINATOR : Made of treated timber planks supported on grooved treated plywood Eliminator frame in herringbone pattern.
CASINGS & LOUVERS :
Corrugated Asbestos Cement-Board / Corrugated FRP sheet on special applications.

HARD WARES :
Structural connections are made with Hot Dipped Galvanized bolts. Nails are of stainless steel (304 quality), screw shank type S.S.304 / 316-quality.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENTS : FAN : Propeller Type multi-bladed fan assembly. Blades are of cast Aluminium alloy and hub of cast iron. Fan directly coupled with motor.
FAN CYLINDER : made of HDG Steel / FRP coated Cylinder fitted with hot dipped galvanized steel fan guard. MOTOR : New India or equivalent makes 415V/3PH /50Hz TEFC Weatherproof IP-54 enclosure. Class-B insulation Flange mounted vertical motor with extended shaft specially made for Cooling Tower Applications.
Treated Timber Factory Assembled Cooling Towers:
Blue chip offers treated timber factory assembled packaged type induced draft cooling tower upto 100 TR capacity. These towers specially designed to deliver highly reliable operation under corrosive atmospheric condition. The fan is of Axial flow type and is directly driven which saves from the perennial headache of V-Belts.
Natural Draft Tower:
Blue chip natural Draft Towers assures maximum cooling capacity per cubic foot of tower volume due to its efficient spray system design. Better area utilization is achieved by use of proper size nozzles and pattern determination on the basis of theory test & experience.
